With a commitment to community healthcare we have steadily grown to 61 pharmacies, still concentrated in South Yorkshire with over 600 trained staff including over 80 pharmacists, 9 of who are clinical pharmacists. We have had an internet presence since 1998.
In recognition of our commitment to employee development and ultimately customer service we were the first independent pharmacy in the UK to be awarded the ‘Investor in People’ (IIP) standard in 1993, the standard has subsequently been re-awarded to us at each bi-annual review process. In 1994 our training programme for Pharmacist Assistants achieved ‘National Training Award’ recognition. We are current holders of ISO 9001:2008, having initially achieved the ISO Standard in 2001.

Our pharmacies vary in size from a small village pharmacy to large high street shops with additional departments such as perfumery, photographic and alternative therapies. The pharmacies around Kent, Sussex and Surrey do take care of a number of residential and nursing homes and give advice and help to them on a regular basis.
Steven undertook his degree at Aston University from 1985 to 1988 and qualified as a pharmacist in 1989 after completed his pre-reg at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry. To gain valuable experience he held various positions as both a locum pharmacist and pharmacy manager before acquiring his first pharmacy in January 1992

It now consist of 19 pharmacy outlets, spread across North Home Counties and East Midlands, as well as a surgical manufacturing business as a subsidiary based in Bristol. Healthcare solutions to the local communities through its pharmacies is its core business.
This particular independently family owned group of pharmacies consists of 12 units and is primarily based in the North West.
The precursor to this group began in 1995 and was borne out of the need to be focused on the community it serves offering a pharmaceutical service that caters for that population. This Ethos has not changed.
